Coffee helps you keep your mind!

If you have already lost your mind I dont think coffee will help, but according to a recent study drinking more than 5 cups of coffee per day may help prevent dementia. Check out the article here.

It also mentions that “previous studies have shown that coffee drinking may also be linked to a reduced risk of Parkinson’s disease.”

For all the coffee drinkers out there (including me) drink up. That is until the next study says coffee is bad for our heart, brain, skin, or maybe just our wallets.

Coffee, not so good, not so bad for you

As many of you know I really like coffee and drink a fair amount each day. Probably close to 10 cups on average. I was reading a NY Times article that was listing all the myths, misunderstandings, and actual benefits to coffee You can check it out here.

Bottom line from this article and a few others I have read. Coffee is not a wonder drug, but it is also not terrible for you health. It will make you a little bit more alert, have a few limited positive impacts on your health, and isn’t likely to give you cancer.

Well, all this is true until the next study comes out:)
