Sprint and Cylon LLC: Alerts
As a followup to the update on my experience with Sprint customers service I received a phone survey today. It was specifically asking about my experience on Monday. So I gave the person reasonable review since they were so helpful. Overall, customer service number not so great.
Just now I logged on to my sprint account to check out my usage and guess what I found:

Round Two of customer service roulette is just getting ready to take place, arggh!
Please remove me from this ripoff
I went to the store and they were helpful! They took the charge off of my stmt an advised me to google Cylon LLC and have the service stopped asap. Now I’m on here trying to find out where to do that at!
You can ask the customer service rep to turn off the third party SMS service on your account. Be aware that this will limit your ability to utilize google and other third party services as well.
my 74 yr old mom, who can hardly remember how to check voicemail, got this charge on a phone a provide for her. started 4 months ago! i contact cylon and explained the situation. someone named luke at customer service told me they cancelled the service and i would get a refund in the mail. hopefully i will…the company has been called out on their rip-offs as you will see in a google search. good luck!
Yes!! I was charged twice. I didn’t even know what a Cylon Alert was. Sprint stopped it for me but never took the charges off. I called again, and got them to take off one charge. They told me they couldn’t fix things that where from three months ago.
What or who are these people? and how do they get away with it??
Sprint told me to text “Stop” to 41463. They also refunded 3 months worth of charges. It has been on my bill for 6 months before I noticed
Received bill to day from Sprint with “Cylon LLC:Alerts- Info Text38146-06/13″.
What must I do to report this bogs charge. I have been assured by Sprint it will be removed from my current bill. Need I watch other phone and internet bills for similar charges in the future.
phone number 210-573-7918 needs to have your charges stoped and remove from our account.

What a rip-off! I got caught in Cylon trap as well. Sprint was very accomendating. They removed the $9.99 charge, and block my text messaging from receiving spam.
I was lucky to catch it, before it went on for months. As a precaution, I texted ‘ STOP’ to 41463 and received a message saying that I had been removed from the program.
